It is beginning to look a lot like Christmas

The weather has finally gotten cold and snowy. In fact I think that it has gotten really cold. It is hard for me to believe that I was born and raised in Upstate New York because Utah's version of cold cannot even compare to the tundra where I grew up, but I am really for summer immediately after January 1st.

The Christmas season for at least 10 years of my life has been complicated by college finals. Yes I said 10 years if you add my college years with Jared's college years. 10 years of finals right before Christmas, as if getting ready for Christmas was not stressful enough. On that note tomorrow will take his last final. He is at the Library for the last time tonight. I am ready to loose my mind. Mikey won't stay off of the kitchen table. I have resorted to putting the chairs on top of the table and chest freezer. Then tori knocked the chairs off of the chest freezer and almost knocked over the Christmas tree. Needless to say I am ready to have my husband back. I am ready to live in a house. I am ready for space in my life. Jared only needs to get a 25% on his final to pass the class and thus finish his degree. I assume that out of 100 hundred questions he will anwser 25 correctly. Please say a little pray for him that he will pass his exam. If he does not you will need to say a really BIG prayer for him.

Christmas cards are also stressful. Trying to make the children look cute, clean, in the same direction and smiling is next to impossible. These pictures are in the order in which they were taken.

Our first attempt. She looks cute. he is cute too, but looking in the wrong direction.
Not so cute. Mikey is still avoiding eye contact with the camera.

Neither one are so cute.

Super cute and happy!!

Even better picture of Tori, Mikey not so cute.

And then

they fell off from the couch into the tree. They laughed so hard and begged to be able to do that AGAIN!

Cute pictures, I completely understand having a husband in school, Kirk is working on an MBA at night and working full time during the day, we NEVER see him. It will be nice when it is all over in 2010 for us. Your lucky you are almost done being the "single mom" I've got a while left hopefully I'll make it
